Jobdescription Senior Legal Counsel Hazera
In order to support the continuous growth of our client, we are currently recruiting a senior legal counsel.
As a generalist, you will support the preparation of different commercial agreements, primarily sale/distribution, research cooperation, product sourcing, production and procurement contracts. You will advise on product/professional liability and insurance matters.
You will be responsible for the corporate secretariat and regulatory affairs of the company. You may also be required to advise on employment and labor law matters. You will report to the CEO.
The position is based in Made (near Breda), Noord Brabant.
Qualifications Senior Legal Counsel Hazera
Qualified Dutch lawyer, member of the Dutch Bar, or the willingness to become a member again;
You have approximately 10 years relevant working experience in commercial law (transactional experience), either as a in-house counsel or a registered lawyer;
Significant experience in working as an in-house lawyer for an operational/exporting company is a must;
Knowledge of the seed business/plant protection matters is definitely an advantage;
Hands-on skills with drafting and negotiating national and cross border agreements;
Comprehension of competition law and knowledge of intellectual property law is useful;
You act independent, pro-active and have a strong personality;
Excellent knowledge of the English language - full drafting ability;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to prioritize, manage time and work under pressure;
No nine to five mentality and willingness to travel.
